The Community Service Organisation (CSO)

The Community Service Organisation involves boys in the Fourth Form and above in voluntary work for the community. The twin aims of the CSO are: firstly to expose boys to experiences outside of their usual social circle; and secondly for City of London School to serve its community.

Boys who are not involved in the CCF will carry out 1 to 2 hours of community work per week during the Fourth Form and have the option to continue this good work higher up the School.

Examples of the sort of work being carried out by boys as part of their CSO service include: the Coin Street Project, work in a charity shop, recycling projects, service to a religious group, helping out at a youth club and becoming assistant librarians at School.
